    Mentees,

Your S.T.E.P. coaches Charlet, Deedee and I hope that your mentoring relationship is going well. We know that some of you are experiencing challenges keeping up with all of your responsibilities including keeping in contact with your mentor. We want to remind you how important it is to maintain contact with your mentor. As you know, your mentor has made a commitment and is quite interested in helping you to meet your goals. Please do your best to respond to their communication. However, if you are not able to maintain contact, let your mentor know that you just don't have the time or a life challenge is present in your life that prevents you from giving your time to the mentoring relationship. In some cases, you may have already met your goal and you no longer want to maintain contact with your mentor. Let them know that too. Also, if you are having any problems with your mentor and he/she isn't communicating with you, please let us know that or any other assistance you need at step@asha.org.

We would also like to hear from you on the S.T.E.P. Community. The mentee participation in the Monday Connection discussions has not been present this session. Let us know why? Any responses that you send will not be seen by the mentors.

    Talk to you soon,
