The NCRAR conference, "Ototoxicity and Noise Damage: Translating Preclinical Findings to Audiological Management" to be held September 25-27, 2019 in Portland, OR.
This conference is unique in that it will facilitate sharing, teaching and learning among and between scientists, audiologists, professionals from other health care disciplines, health policy makers and affected patients, so that they can more effectively work towards solutions to reduce the burden of hearing loss for the individual and society.
Conference objectives are to enhance knowledge of the underlying damage from ototoxicity and noise overexposure in relation to auditory deficits, models for symptom development, current approaches to evidence-based treatment and patient-centered management, and to discuss how this knowledge can be translated into future clinical and pharmaceutical interventions.
