Hello,
I know how busy we all are, so I will keep it short and sweet.
Problem: Low number of SLPs in medical settings in certain areas (including high population cities) leading to untapped potential to serve communities, fewer SLP positions available, lower salaries due to underestimated value added
Objective: To collect data on the profit revenue earned when adding additional SLP to staff.
Rationale: We need data to demonstrate from a business standpoint that our clinical skills are valuable and necessary
1. To generate positions
2. To increase/improve patient care
3.To advocate for fair wages based on our skill set
Questions:
1. How much revenue is made for each additional SLP?
2. How do you decide when to hire a new SLP?
3. What type of caseload (number of patients) do you expect for each SLP?
4. How much is billed per patient session on average?
5. Upon which type of setting is this report based?
Thank you in advance for any and all input that you can provide!
