You may know about ASHA's Leadership Academy and one of the areas in the Academy that ASHA would like to enhance is the the Leadership Pathways Profiles (LPP). The LPP is in the early stages of collecting profiles of ASHA Volunteers and their pathway to ASHA volunteer leadership. We have pathways from past and current early career, emerging, and experienced ASHA volunteers and would like any past or current ASHA volunteer to provide us with their volunteer profile to be posted on the Academy.
Our goal is to show visitors to the Academy that there are many ways to get involved with ASHA - not just one path. Some members start volunteering with their state association, some start by doing microvolunteering for ASHA, others perhaps began their journey with a related professional organization to ASHA. Whatever the reason, and no matter how high they climb the ASHA volunteer ladder we want to know so we can share it on Leadership Academy.
If you are willing to create a profile of your volunteer journey, we kindly ask:
- That you draft your volunteer profile that includes at least one ASHA volunteer activity and email it to governance@asha.org
- Indicate in the subject line Leadership Pathway Profile Submission.
