    Greetings dear Healthcare Professionals,

The Auditory Processing Disorder is a complex and challenging diagnosis. It is very common in the pediatric population, but not identified, or well attended. They are children who have good hearing, but it is difficult for them to analyze and interpret correctly what they hear, which affects their learning. Many times they are not diagnosed, so they do not receive the appropriate treatment or recommendations.

Lois Kam Heymann is a leading expert in the speech-language pathology field, as well as in the treatment of children with listening, learning and auditory challenges. And next September 28, she will be giving a seminar on "Auditory Language Processing Skills in Children: The Foundations".
