thanks so much for sharing your experience.  We seldom speak about kindness in relation to leadership.  How many of us have given workshops or made speeches about leadership without mentioning the role of kindness in supervising or mentoring individuals, or leading an organization?  Kindness is important.  Maya Angelou said, "People may not remember what you did or said but they will always remember how you made them feel."
