Does your school or district face the challenge of not having enough speech-language pathologists (SLPs), or have difficulty retaining SLPs? Do you work in a university setting where you prepare SLPs for employment in a school setting? If you answered "yes", join us for the 2019 ASHA Schools Virtual Town Hall on December 9, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm ET for ideas and resources to help you.
The 2019 ASHA Schools Virtual Town Hall will feature a moderator and panel to address the need for expanding the school-based workforce. Town Hall participants will learn from school-based SLPs, school district decision makers, and state education departments about strategies to attract, prepare, and retain school-based SLPs. Attendees will be able to ask questions and offer comments during free the livestreamed event.
