Hi everyone,
Leaders need to know how to leverage diversity and advance inclusion, and can't shy away from tough topics. In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA), the 20th Anniversary of the MInority Student Leadership Program (MSLP), and the 15th Anniversary of ASHA's Student to Empowered Professional (S.T.E.P.) program, we're offering an additional way for you to advance your leadership in this area at the Convention in Orlando.
You're invited to attend a special Anniversary Address by reknown author, Ijeoma Oluo, author of So You Want to Talk About Race. The address will be on Thursday, November 21st, at 12:30 pm, and will be streamed on Facebook Live for those who will not be in Orlando.
ASHA CEUs are NOT available for this address
Also, if you'll be in Orlando, please plan to join us at the Multcultural Concerns Collective -- MC2 for our anniversary celebration on Thursday evening, November 21st, from 8-11 pm, at the Rosen Plaza's Club 3Nine. Details of this and all of the upcoming activities are included on the attached document.
Hope to see you there (live or virtually!),
Vicki
