Are you an Early Career Professional or know of one in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology?

This fall, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is offering early career professionals (ECP's) in the fields of speech language pathology and audiology to apply for the Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate.  This certificate was created to recognize and identify ECPs in the fields of audiology and speech-language pathology who are making an impact in the areas of leadership, volunteering, or advocacy at the local, state, and/or national level. This certificate will also highlight the involvement of ECPs in their local, state, and community speech-language-hearing associations.

To apply for the Distinguished ECP Certificate, an applicant must:

    • Be a member in good standing of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
    • Be 30 years of age or less OR be within the first 5 years of his/her professional career
    • Have no current or prior service on the ASHA Board of Directors.

Only individuals who fit these requirements are encouraged to apply. Please contact governance@asha.org if you have any further questions.

Applications to apply for the Distinguished ECP Certificate will open September 14, 2020.
