Jim has practiced as a clinical Speech-Language Pathologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs for over 30 years. His interests and expertise are with neurogenic speech and language disorders. He has presented at local and national conferences on aphasia and dysarthria, with peer-reviewed publications on aphasia. He has been a regular treating clinician with the Program for Intensive Residential Aphasia Treatment and Education (PIRATE) since 2010. He is currently on the SIG 2 Coordinating Committee.
