    PERSONAL VALUES ASSESSMENT (PVA)

It's important to have self-awareness in order to establish realistic goals for yourself. Your individual strengths and challenges do not need to be a barrier; both may be used as assets to leverage you closer to your goals.  Know yourself to know where you are going.

Take the PERSONAL VALUES ASSESSMENT (PVA). The assessment helps you to think about what is important to you, what motivates you and identify areas where you may want to develop further.

Discuss what you learned with your mentoring partner. Did you discover anything about yourself that can help you to achieve your goals?  Where do you see your strengths and weaknesses? Do you and your mentoring partner have commonalities? Use the exercises and prompts provided to gain a deeper understanding of how your values influence you and begin to consider areas for future development. Also, use this as an opportunity to learn more about each other and how what you learned can strengthen your mentoring relationship.
