As part of my work with the American Association of Interpreters and Translators in Education, I'm trying to help disseminate a survey to anyone who works with interpreters and to anyone who works as an interpreter. This survey is open to anyone in the US, however, we have a number of states where we've had no responses to the survey so far, or maybe just 1 person has responded. Can you wonderful MIB members help me disseminate this information? The following states are the ones where we have no surveys completed. ANYONE who works in schools can complete these. We are hoping this information will help us establish regulations for educational oral interpreters and translators. Info is needed from the following: Arkansas, Delaware, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, New Hampshire Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.

    Hello!
The American Association of Interpreters & Translators in Education (AAITE, www.AAITE.org
) would like to capture your state's perspective in a nationwide survey related to interpreting and translation in educational settings.
The survey is not only for bilingual staff or those currently providing interpreting or translation service, it is also for educators and school administrators who support a diverse community.
Please consider participating in this survey and sharing it widely throughout your state. THANK YOU!
