Emotional Intelligence

Summary

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how we perceive and express ourselves and how we develop and maintain social relationships. Research suggests that professionals interested in advancing into leadership roles are well served by enhancing their emotional intelligence. In this webinar, participants will be introduced to a specific emotional intelligence model (EQi) and will explore strategies to enhance it.

  • Describe emotional intelligence and the research behind the EQi model
  • Define the different composites and subscales that make up the EQi model
  • Identify various ways to strengthen emotional intelligence

Registration is free for each 1-hour webinar. To earn ASHA continuing education units (CEUs), you must be eligible to earn ASHA CEUs. Additionally, you must have paid the annual ASHA CE Registry fee.
