Toastmasters International has a new educational program called Pathways. It provides online content and a variety of opportunites to practice leadership skills - and communications skills - inside and outside of a Toastmasters club. Additionally, mentorship is available and feedback is provided. Numersous leadership and communication projects can be completed in the Toastmasters club or district, but could also be completed in the form of projects or events you organize and lead in your work setting or within another organization. It is a self-paced program that you learn by hands-on participation, in addition to the guidance provided through the online program and the experienced Toastmasters in your local club. It's even a great opportunity to put into practice all of the leadership (mentoring and coaching) principles and ideas you get from other books and speakers, etc. I am happy to answer your questions about Toastmasters, or you can check out the Toastmasters International website at Toastmasters.org.
